Now go to the fun part: choose the type of lens you want to use. This is the hardest part of all the options – just like you can see in Snapchat. You can try everything from awkward hairstyles to cat masks and even dinosaur cameos.

You can use them whenever you jump into a video chat To use the filter, click on it and it will grab. To close it, just click it again. And to turn off the Snap camera at once, just close the app. It’s really that fast and easy to use.

To turn off the filter for good, go back to the video settings of your selected program and change the camera you are using to your standard webcam again.

But if you like fun lenses so much that you want the filters available every time you turn on your computer, open the Snap Camera app and go to the Settings menu in the upper-right corner. Toggle to turn on snap camera at system startup.
